Terms and conditions
The basics of using this website and booking cleaning work with us.
These terms apply when you use this website or ask Ahmad Carpets Shop to carry out work. Anything we agree with you in writing for a specific job takes priority.
Information on this website
Our guides are general information. Every carpet is different, so please test any cleaning product on a hidden area first, and follow the manufacturer's care instructions. Prices shown from other companies are for general information only and aren't our prices.
Quotes
A quote is based on the information and photos you provide. If the size, material, condition or access turns out to be materially different, we'll talk to you about the change before continuing. A quote isn't a binding contract until we've both agreed the work.
Access and preparation
Please give us safe access, and let us know about building rules, lift bookings and working hours. Please also tell us about any known problems with the carpet or the floor underneath, and any products already used on stains. Valuable and fragile items should be moved before we arrive.
Results
We'll take reasonable care and use suitable methods. Cleaning can't reverse everything. Old stains, bleach marks, dye loss, fading, wear, moth damage, and problems with the backing or underlay may remain, and they may become more visible once the surrounding soil is gone.
Pre-existing condition
Older carpets may already be weakened or have unstable dyes. We'll point out what we notice, but some problems can't be detected by inspection. Please tell us anything you know about a carpet's history.
Drying
Drying depends on the fibre, the weather and ventilation. Please follow our advice on ventilation and keep furniture off the carpet until it has dried.
Payment and changes
Payment and any cancellation arrangements will be agreed when you book.
Concerns
If you aren't happy with something, please tell us as soon as you can so we have a chance to look at it.
Liability and law
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have by law, including under Hong Kong's Supply of Services (Implied Terms) Ordinance. These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong SAR.
